I had the pleasure of being present in St Patrick’s Hall in Dublin Castle this afternoon to see IMF MD Christine Lagarde and Minister for Finance Michael Noonan address the Institute for International and European Affairs.
I am delighted that my motion on marriage equality:
“That the Council supports equal access to marriage for all people, irrespective of sexuality”.
Was passed by a clear majority (17-4) of councillors.
