I am very pleased to see the Criminal Courts of Justice, on Parkgate Street, in Dublin 8, taking part in this year’s Open House Dublin.

This building is now an important landmark on the Dublin city skyline, and even though it is a publicly-accessible municipal building, most people have never set foot inside it. It is a wonderfully airy and bright building that makes the best use of wood and marble to create some really great spaces.
