
The Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) has shortlisted Deansgrange Library for an Irish Architecture Award for 2014.
48 projects were shortlisted by the jury and the winner will be announced in the media over the coming weeks. The shortlist forms the basis for the RIAI Public Choice Award from which the public can select its favourite building by voting online on the RIAI’s website.
Other projects shortlisted include the close by National Film School in IADT, the lifeguard hut and changing shelter build by DLR at Sandycove Harbour, a residential house in Glasthule, Clery’s Department Store on O’Connell Street, Waterford Medieval Museum, and the Saw Swee Hock Student Centre at the London School of Economics.
