Sun WorshipperSun Worshipper, by Noel Scullion, is based on a section of solid shadow of a seated woman aligned in a north-south direction and with the noon summer solstice. Situated in Crosthwaite Park in Dún Laoghaire, the sun shines through a vacant section allowing a beam of light to pass through its own shadow for 10 minutes at midday.

You can view a map of all the public sculptures in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, complete with details of the artists and what the sculptures mean, here.
