Railway Road, Dalkey, Dún Laoghaire
Work will continue on widening of footpaths on Railway Road and the bridge over the Dart line, and installation of traffic signals on Monday 22nd November 2010 until 17th December 2010 between the hours of 8am-6pm. A shuttle system to facilitate two way traffic will be in operation.

M11 Northbound between Fassaroe and Wilford, junction 5
Lane restrictions will be in place to erect gantry signage on Wednesday and Thursday 15th and 16th December 2010 between the junctions of Fassaroe and Wilford on the Northbound carriageway. The hours of work are between 10pm and 5am. Jons Civil Engineering will carry out the work on behalf of the NRA.

Killiney Hill Road, Killiney
Works will take place raising ironworks on the traffic calming ramps until Friday 17th December 2010.

Corbawn Lane, Shankill
Works are taking place to improve footpaths and kerbs on Corbawn Lane until Friday 17th December 2010.

N11 at The Rise, Stillorgan
A concrete barrier will be constructed adjacent to the pedestrian overbridge on both sides of the Dual Carriage way. There will be a closure of the bus lane during the works. Each side will take approximately 4 hours to complete, and the work will be carried out on Wednesday and Thursday 15th and 16th December, weather permitting, commencing at 7.30pm and finishing at 3.00am.

Marine Burdette Avenue and Ballygihan Avenue
Road restoration works will take place here until Friday 17th December between the hours of 8am-6pm, lane restrictions will be in place and due to the narrow width of the roads local access only can be accommodated.

Stradbrook Road/Deansgrange Road Junction
Completion works will take place on the Stradbrook Road until 23rd December 2010 between the hours of 8am -6pm, traffic should not be affected.

N11 near junction with Priory Drive
Work will begin on the construction of a new bus stop on the N11 near the junction with Priory Drive from Tuesday 14th December until Friday 17th December. Traffic lanes will not be affected.

Foxrock Church to Dún Laoghaire Dart Station QBC and Cycle Track Scheme-Kill Avenue Section
Quality Bus Corridor (QBC) works continuing on Kill Avenue. Traffic management plan in operation.

Marine Road/ Crofton Road/ Queens Road: Pedestrian walkway at the Metals with upgrade works to Crofton Rd, Marine Rd & Queens Rd
Marine Rd / Crofton Rd / Queens Rd will undergo resurfacing & alignment works with new public lighting & tree planting. A new signalized pedestrian crossing point will be provided outside the Dart Station.
The signalised junction between Marine Rd / Crofton Rd / Queens Rd will be upgraded to create greater pedestrian areas with wider pavements and a public space being provided outside Meadows & Byrne. Works commenced in May 2010 on Crofton Rd and will proceed in a phased manner throughout the scheme with a completion date of May 2011.

Works will continue off-road throughout December and two way traffic will be maintained.

Mounttown Road Lower, Glenageary Road Upper, Kill Lane (part)
The roadworks are nearing completion on Glenageary Road Upper, Kill Avenue (part of) and at the existing Mounttown Roundabout junction to convert the junction to a traffic signalled junction. Operation Freeflow commences on Monday 29th November 2010 and the contractor has to maintain 2 way traffic on all the main roads. No stop-go traffic management operations on the main roads will be allowed during Operation Freeflow.
In January 2011 Works will recommence on Glenageary Road Upper, where connection works for a new watermain and road resurfacing works have to be completed. These works will require stop/go traffic management operations. There will be other sections of Mounttown Road Lower and around the overall roadworks site where finishing and snagging works and road resurfacing works will require stop/go traffic management operations.
The red asphalt material for the cyclepaths will not be laid until March 2011 due to manufacturer’s temperature restrictions.
All these works are being carried out, by Cosgrave Developments, as part of the Planning Conditions for the adjacent Cosgrave development (Old Dun Laoghaire Golf Club (South).

# Georges Street Lower, Dun Laoghaire
Work will continue on the upgrade of the water main on Georges Street Lower near the junction with York Road from Monday 8th November 2010 until 15th December 2010 between the hours of 8am-6pm.

Georges Street Upper, Dun Laoghaire
Reinstatement works are to be completed on Georges Street Upper near the junction with Corrig Avenue 17th December 2010 between hours of 8am to 6pm.

# Abbey Road, Stradbrook Road
Lane and footpath restrictions will be in place to facilitate the upgrading of the roundabout at the existing bus stop location. The existing bus stop will be removed and the roundabout will be upgraded to reduce traffic speeds and increase safety for cyclists, pedestrians and vulnerable road users. The works will take place until Friday 17th December between the hours of 8am-4pm. A traffic management plan will be in place.
