Dublin Triathlon

Dublin-dun-laoghaire-css-2014-670px-wideEntries are now open for the Dún Laoghaire Triathlon, which is due to take place on Sunday the 25th of May 2014. You can get details of the Triathlon here and apply here.

Consequently, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received a request from the organisers of the Dún Laoghaire Triathlon to close Old Dunleary Road and Seapoint Avenue on the day, from 8.30am to 11.45 am.

The Council has assured me that a traffic management plan will be in place and diversions will be signposted via Temple Hill, Monkstown Road, Monkstown Crescent, Cumberland Street, and Clarence Street.

Before the closure of the roads is decided, any interested party may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, Transportation Department, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin, not later than noon on this coming Friday, the 16th of May 2014.
