Road Closed Diversion

Residents of Grove Avenue and Grove Lawn should note that there has been an application to the Council to temporarily close Grove he Avenue between Grove Lawn and Avoca Avenue for three weeks, from Monday the 29th of June to Friday the 17th of July 2015.

This is to allow works to install two new sewers in the road. We are told that local access will be maintained and traffic will be managed throughout the works, using a diversion via Avoca Avenue, Glenart Avenue and Avoca Road.

If you want to object to this road closure, you must do so on or by Monday the 15th of June 2015 by e-mailing traffic@dlrcoco.ie or writing to:

    Hi Barry,
Please be aware that the yellow diamond signs which used to warn motorists that there was a turn into Grove Lawn from Grove Avenue in both directions were taken down when the works described above were being done but they were never put back up.
Please ensure that they are restored.
    Thanks
    Padraic.
