Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, as part of of its Summer of Heritage 2013 programme, is organising tours of “Historic Blackrock”, every Wednesday and Sunday at midday until the 1st of September. Starting at the main gates of Blackrock Park, at the bottom of Mount Merrion Avenue, the tour will bring you back in time through historic Blackrock, concluding in Blackrock Village.
The tour is free, takes 75 minutes, and is outdoors and wheelchair accessible. The maximum number of participants is 30, so come early because there is only one per day!
