The Irish Georgian Society will be holding a lecture in the Royal St. George Yacht Club on the 17th of November 2010:
At 7pm: “Historic Ironwork: its history, significance & conservation”, by Ali Davey, Head of Technical Outreach & Education at Historic Scotland and author of DoEHLG Advice Series on The Repair of Wrought and Cast Ironwork

At 8.30pm: “Conservation in the Limelight: the importance of using lime”, by Ivor McElveen, conservation engineer & Chairperson of Building Limes Forum Ireland

Admission costs €25 and includes tea/coffee.
