Last night, Fine Gael councillors on Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council successfully proposed the reduction of the Local Property Tax by the maximum allowable 15%.
This is in line with a commitment we gave to the electorate at the 2014 Local Elections and we are pleased to fulfill this promise for the 5th year in a row.
DLR residents pay the highest LPT in Ireland (an average of €626 per annum per household), so it is only right that we reduce that burden as much as we can.
