The new Samuel Beckett Civic Campus, located just off Ballyogan Road, is an important investment in the area by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, providing new community rooms and childcare facilities, as well as a new leisure centre, gymnasium, dance and fitness studios, and three all-weather astro sports pitches.

You can visit this award-winning campus on Sunday 16 October between 12 and 5pm, free of charge, as part of Open House Dublin 2016.

The building itself was designed by Dublin-based architects Bucholz McEvoy, who also designed the Elm Park development near Booterstown/Merrion Gates. The new facility is designed to be low energy use, utilising techniques such as natural ventilation and maximising natural daylight and using natural and renewable materials where possible.
