I was delighted to hear that the popular restaurant chain, Carluccio’s, will open a new restaurant in Glasthule village, its second in Dublin after Dawson Street, which opened in 2013.
The new restaurant will create 35 jobs and will mirror the service provided in the city centre with all-day Italian food and space for 88 diners. The menu includes a selection of Italian dishes, from antipasti and fresh handmade pasta, to seasonal fish, meat and vegetarian mains, plus desserts. Carluccio’s are said to be “delighted to have finally found the right site” for their next outlet. There will also be a take-away food shop and deli.
