The fist event of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council‘s Summer of Heritage 2015 programme, will be a free tour of Dalkey Castle and Heritage Centre, starting tomorrow, and the every Monday and Thursday at 10.45am until the 3rd of September.
Dalkey Castle brings history to life through guided tours with actors and theatre performances. Tours take approximately an hour and are only partially wheelchair accessible, with a maximum of 40 people per tour.

There is also a Writers’ Gallery with portraits and and interactive screens looking at the works of 45 writers, many of whom are part of Dalkey’s rich literary past, and access to St. Begnet’s Church and Graveyard.
Dalkey Castle is open 7 days a week (Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm, and Saturday & Sunday 11am to 6pm). The Castle caters for group tours as well and all bookings can be lade by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
