The Winter of Heritage Programme, organised by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and comprising free events on heritage, will recommence on Monday 21 January 2019 (finishing on 3 March).
This year’s programme includes some really interesting winter talks on everything from the stone bridges of DLR to the history of “Kingstown” in the first half of the 19th century (1821-1841), as well as familiar sites like the James Joyce Martello Tower, Cabinteely House and The Oratory in Dún Laoghaire.
Remember, all these events are free (although some need to be booked in advance), but you can get full details athttps://events.dlrcoco.ie/event/winter-heritage-2019
