Water up-date

Residents are advised that as of 7pm tonight and Friday and Saturday of this week, the Council is reducing the severity of water pressure reductions across the County. This should significantly reduce the impact on businesses and households for the weekend.

This will continue to be reviewed by our water engineers on a daily basis

Operation Freeflow
Operation Freeflow will come into effect from midnight on 28th November 2010 until 24th December 2010. The Gardai have advised that only Emergency works or works in housing estates may continue during this period to ensure the free-flow of traffic. Reinstatement works are permitted for the first week of Operation Freeflow.
