Permission is sought for sub-division of the existing properties known as Beaumont Cottage into two separate properties, both with their own entrances off Beaumont Gardens, which involves the separation of the existing drainage/sewage arrangement which is currently interlinked. Alterations to the house consist of blocking up the existing window in the north gable and the insertion of a new ‘Velux’ roof light to the rear. The construction of new vehicular entrance from Beaumont Gardens with associated ground works. Alterations to the mews consist of the construction of a new two storey extension to the front to the line up with the existing building line. This will consist of study, utility room, bathroom and entrance hall/dining room at ground floor and bedroom with en-suite, roof terrace and link corridor at first floor level. The reconstruction of the existing north facing stone wall. Alterations to the existing mews will consist of modifications to the south facade to incorporate new windows and doors, the conversion of the ground floor into kitchen/living room. The construction of two new bedrooms and bathroom at first floor level, modifications to the existing roof to connect the two buildings. The insertion of a new window in the existing stone north facade, the construction of garden shed. The insertion of ‘Velux’ roof lights and solar panels in existing roof of the mews. |
