Sacré Coeur

I had the pleasure of attending the first St. Patrick’s Day “greening” of the famous Sacré Coeur church in Paris last night, as part of the Global Greening Programme, with Minister for Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation, Richard Bruton TD, Ireland’s new Ambassador to France, Geraldine Byrne Nason, and the Deputy-Mayor of Paris, Patrick Klugman.

Congratulations to all the Paris Embassy, Tourism Ireland and other Irish staff who made this happen. The Global Greening Programme is a fantastic opportunity for Ireland to make its presence known around the world on St. Patrick’s Day in a way that no other country can.
