The election in Blackrock will be very close and every vote will count.
I hope that the hard work I have done for people throughout my area, over the last five years, will stand to me and I will hold my seat, but I will need every No.1 vote I can get.
As the local election campaign comes to an end, I want to thank all the people I met, both those who will support me and those who won’t. The residents of Blackrock and the surrounding areas like Booterstown, Deansgrange, Foxrock, Monkstown, Seapoint and Stillorgan, are unfailingly polite and considerate. I also want to thank the numerous friends, colleagues and local Fine Gael members who came out campaigning for me over the last few weeks and months – without their support it would have been impossible to cover the kind of ground we have covered.
Please support me by giving me your No.1 vote or next highest preference.
And remember that mine will be last name on the ballot paper…
